new setup.

Yes, for all of you who were oh-so-concerned, I AM indeed still alive!

Last week was quite the crazy week with 7 assignments and 1 midterm... but now i'm back in Toronto for reading week =D everyone celebrate!

I'm looking forward to the remainder of the term, which isn't nearly as busy, but will have its moments.

I am PLEASED to say that I finally decided to invest in a proper setup for my laptop! New a monitor and an external keyboard/mouse!!!! wohooooo! No more bad posture or squinting... ergonomics ftw! I've had quite the time playing around with my new setup thus far =D. I'll have more space on my desk in Loo. Toronto is cramped =\.

I also picked up $30 speakers, but will wait till i'm back in Loo to set those up. I'm sure they'll be QUITE poor quality, but it beats having broken speakers!!!!

In any case, in light of this wonderful new setup, I'll definitely be wanting to put it to good use. The second monitor should help with all my assignments and reduce all the window flipping I have to do... and the lovely new keyboard is very fun to type on, so hopefully some proper blog posts coming soon =D.

Before reading week is over, I have an overdue thelifemuse post and will do another monthly wrap-up of my tumblr.
